Qualifications for Apprenticeship SCHOLARSHIP:

  • At least 17 years of age to apply

  • At least 18 years of age to enter program

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Completion of at least one full year of high school level Algebra I with a passing grade

  • Valid state driver's license (not a state ID)

This is a PAID, on-the-job training program. You will receive 8,000 hours of verified training with a licensed Journeyman Electrician for a union signatory contractor and 950 hours of classroom time.

This is a SCHOLARSHIP program, so there is no tuition, however, you must be selected for the program and you must go through a selection process that includes an Aptitude test and an oral interview with the JATC Committee.
